Abstract

In an article "Were bitten: why vampire-novel became the popular formula of modern muss-cult" by Irina Savkina explores the texts of Stephenie Meyer, Elena Tanicheva and Sergei Lukyanenko to answer the question why the story about vampires have recently become so popular, especially among young readers.
