On the New Children’s Book and its Readers

Abstract

Publication of the article by A. F. Grinberg “On the New Children's Book and its Reader”. (National teacher. 1926. No 9. S. 96–99). In the article, the researcher severely criticizes the latest "pioneer literature" and, as an alternative, provides samples of the "lively speech" of children. Such a contrast fits well into her own professional credo: “a real, hot, strong, talented, Soviet, new children's book” is a book written by the children themselves.
