Abstract

This article is devoted to the survey of the children’s literature critique in the publication entitled Journal of the Ministry of Public Enlightenment (published in 1834-1917). The reviews published in this magazine served simultaneously as a pedagogical recommendations, a ministry decree, and a censorship license.
