Abstract

The article deals with the comparative analysis of textual and contextual changes in two editions of the first children’s novel by Soviet writer, Isaac Rakhtanov. An attempt is made to explain the reasons behind these identified deviations. It is suggested that the second edition of the novel reflects the serious evolution of the author’s ideology and narrative style.
