Abstract

In this article, the lyrics of pioneer songs are considered as an example of one of the preventive ways to improve the health of children. The idea of the need for hardening and its practical implementation were favorite themes of Soviet pedagogy. The songwriters urge children to take a cold shower every morning, do exercises, do various sports, spend a lot of time outdoors, go hiking, etc. As a result of these activities, children will be strong and healthy. It is precisely such people that are necessary for the future life, for building a communist society. This model of childhood life was closely related to the slogan "The future generation of Soviet people will live under communism."
