Abstract

The volume begins with an excerpt from the book “The main motives of modern children’s literature" by Anna Pokrovskaya (1878–1972), a critic and historian of children’s literature, a teacher, and a library scientist. The book was published by “Rabotnik prosveschenia”, a Moscow publishing house in 1927.
