Children and Childhood, History and Culture: Sixth Conference in Memory of Vitaly Bezrogov

This review describes the work of the sixth scientific conference “Children and Childhood in the History of Culture: Contemporary Interdisciplinary Research. In Memory of Vitaly Bezrogov (1959–2019)”, which was held November 28–29, 2025, in Moscow at the Faculty of Cultural Studies of the Russian State Humanitarian University and the Laboratory of Sociocultural Educational Practices of Moscow City Pedagogical University. The conference featured the following thematic sections: the history of childhood, ethnography and anthropology, textbooks, and children’s literature. A separate discussion panel was devoted to the children’s book periphery. Researchers from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Omsk, Tula, Petrozavodsk, Belgrade (Serbia), and Pavia (Italy) participated in the conference. The authors of the review touch upon the history of the conference and also describe in detail some of the reports and discussions that took place during the sections.
