CHILDREN'S WRITER IN THE 21ST CENTURY
Abstract
Since the first responses to children's books, discussions have not ceased about what a children's writer should be like: should he remain a "perfect child" at heart, be first and foremost a teacher and educator, or an artist of words? Each era put forward its own demands, sometimes quite contradictory. What does it mean to be a children's writer in the 21st century and how is this understood by authors writing for children today, we tried to consider in our small study.
