Abstract

The Appendix to issue 24 of Children's Readings contains articles and reviews that complement the main archival block "Reviving the Past with Pedagogy: On History and Historicism in Children's Literature" prepared by Sergei Ushakin. Each of the publications, covering the period from 1901 to 1940, addresses issues related to the discussion of the historical theme in children's literature.

The articles are arranged in strict chronological order of publication.

In the table of contents, the author's name is given in the same way as in the original publication (including the absence of an indication of the authorship of the text). Most of the authors of the articles are given brief biographical information in a special section preceding the reprints.
