Abstract

A unique contribution to the history of children's literature became archival-biographical investigations of Evgenia Oskarovna Putilova. In the “Archive” section we publish, at the request of Evgenia Oskarovna, four, in her opinion, the best works of this genre — articles about Alexander Annenskaya, Leonid Panteleev, Maria Pozharova and Lydia Charskaya. They were prepared for the encyclopedia “Literary St. Petersburg: The Twentieth Century”, published by members of the Faculty of Philology of St. Petersburg State University in 2011. Currently, this book is rare and its electronic version is undergoing preparation.
