One Year in The Life of A Children's Library
Abstract
The Leningrad Regional Children's Library (LODB) was founded in 1968 as a methodological center for children's libraries in the Leningrad Region, urban and rural. The peculiarity of our work, as a methodological center and the largest children's library in the Leningrad region, is that we develop and conduct programs for the reading community of the Leningrad region, travel to cities and villages, organize various events for children and librarians, and also serve the children of St. Petersburg from nearby neighborhoods. In our library many events take place over the year related to books, reading, and above all — with readers.
