Abstract

The focus of the article by Oleg Nikolaev is on one of the most popular texts of Russian poetry — Mikhail Lermontov's poem "Borodino". The author of the article examines the poem "Borodino" as a phenomenon of a well-known book in Russian culture, explores the factors, which influence the transformation of fiction into a textbook element, finds out the mechanisms of transmission of the historical and cultural memory.
